We have created two new categories of membership for associations:
These categories open membership to like-minded organizations who, like us, improve our community! For additional information, go to our "Join us" ink, call us at 419 241 8440, or send us an email for details!!

NEW BOARD MEMBER
We welcome Tom Baird to the Board of Trustees! Tom is the owner of Toledocpas.com, the
Ottawa Tavern and other local businesses. He is also the President of the Reynolds Corners Merchants Association. Committed to Toledo and a true devotee of all things local, Tom is a great asset to our Board. WELCOME!
Your board has created two new membership categories. FRIENDS are non-profit organizations who positively impact the greater Toledo culture and PARTNERS are like-minded business associations whose members are primarily locally-owned businesses. These new membership categories will help us further spread our message while allowing our Friends and Partners the reciprocal benefit. We think this is a win-win for all and most especially, for our community!
We say goodbye to Pam Weirauch and Ann Krause, two talented women who have helped lead this organization through thick and thin. Life sometimes gets too busy and we must step down from positions we enjoy. Although they have stepped down from their positions on our Board, we do not expect either Pam or Ann to go too far away.
We are out in the community speaking as often as we are invited! We will come to your group to talk about the benefits of choosing local. If you would like us to present, call us or shoot us an email.
We are a 100% volunteer board and have no paid staff. Everything we do to convey our Mission is done over lunch hours, after our “day jobs” and in between other activities. We do this because we believe and know local matters. Maybe you have the same passion? Join us …there is plenty of room for more volunteers!
We are now using a post office box for mail. If you prefer snail mail:

WHAT HAVE WE BEEN UP TO?
At our monthly meetings, we are constantly looking for ways to better and further spread our message. We thought a community event might be a fun way to harness the message and couple it with Toledo’s vibrant citizens. So, on May 4, we facilitated a Coffee Cash Mob that included 8 coffee shops and 2 roasters from most points across our city. Our shopkeepers told us there was an uptick in business. Great fun was had by all come came out for the event. Watch for similar events in the future!
IS YOUR MEMBERSHIP UP TO DATE?
It is easy to let a membership lapse. Please check the status of your membership or sign up for the first time at: www.toledochooselocal.org
